Kkeut Clinic Tensherma Lifting
Principle of RF Lifting
Monopolar RF (Radiofrequency) Lifting is a non-surgical lifting procedure that utilizes resistive heating generated by electric currents passing through the skin.
This heat warms the collagen fibers in the skin's dermal layer to 60~70 degrees Celsius, causing immediate contraction (tightening), and at the same time stimulates fibroblasts to promote the synthesis of new collagen and elastin.
Immediately after treatment: Dermal collagen contraction → Immediate increase in elasticity
Weeks later: Post-heat damage recovery response → New collagen generation → Enhanced lifting
In other words, it is a treatment with both immediate effects + delayed effects.
Monopolar vs. Bipolar
RF lifting is categorized into monopolar and bipolar.
Monopolar: Stimulates deep layers, beneficial for correcting double chin, jawline, and nasolabial folds.
Bipolar: Primarily acts on superficial layers, strong in improving skin texture, pores, and fine wrinkles.
The choice of device should vary depending on the patient's skin thickness, fat volume, and sensitivity.
Tensherma vs. Oligio
Many people ask, "What's the difference between Tensherma and Oligio?"
Both devices are based on monopolar RF, but there are differences in their actual structure and method.
1. Impedance Check (Resistance Measurement)
Oligio: Measures impedance once at the start of the procedure and applies it uniformly throughout the entire area.
Tensherma: Measures impedance and corrects output for every single shot
→ This is the same method as Thermage, which reduces errors due to skin resistance in different areas and allows for more homogeneous and stable heat delivery.
To summarize, Tensherma can be considered the true copy of Thermage, while Oligio offers better value for money.
2. Tip Size
Tensherma tips are larger than Oligio/Thermage.
A larger tip allows for stronger energy delivery to a wider area per shot.
Even with the same 300 shots, Tensherma 300 shots > Oligio 300 shots
→ Stronger and longer-lasting effects
3. Epidermal Cooling Intensity
For monopolar RF, epidermal cooling is key to safety.
Tensherma has stronger cooling than Oligio.
Even those with thin and sensitive skin can receive treatment with higher intensity and less pain.
Kkeut Clinic Tensherma Lifting Differentiators
Differentiator 1. Optimal Intensity Design – Paper-Based Threshold Energy
Instead of a vague standard like “not hot,” we use a protocol based on research papers and clinical data.
Designed based on ≥0.07kJ per shot / ≥40kJ total → Uses only above the minimum threshold required for collagen remodeling
Within a range that the patient can tolerate, we reduce pain and maximize effectiveness.

Key Difference 2. Meticulous Customized Design
Beyond simply tightening the skin,
facial asymmetry, areas of concern, and areas with reduced elasticity are custom-designed after direct consultation with the director.
With a design that considers each person's facial structure, natural and harmonious lifting effects are aimed for.
Key Difference 3. Design Grid & Super Pass Overlapping Method
Kkeuthan Clinic's TenTherma uses a design grid to systematically delineate the treatment area.
Then, the Super Pass method is applied to
safely overlap heat on necessary areas.
This method reduces unnecessary overheating and precisely accumulates effects, creating longer-lasting elasticity.
In other words, instead of random application, it's a strategically layered lifting procedure.
Key Difference 4. Quantity Verification After Treatment – Transparent Procedure
After every procedure, we directly confirm to the patient exactly how many shots were administered.
We promise reliable procedures and transparent results.
Treatment Benefits
Powerful cooling minimizes pain
Impedance check with every shot → Maximizes safety
Use of large tips → Strong stimulation, long-lasting effects
Non-invasive method → No anesthesia required, minimal downtime

Q&A
고객님들이 가장 많이 물어보시는 내용을 모았습니다.
Q. How painful is the TenTherma procedure?
TenTherma has one of the strongest cooling performances among monopolar RF systems (Thermage-copy lifting). Thanks to powerful cooling, the epidermis is protected, and the pain is tolerable, with most patients receiving the treatment without significant discomfort.
Q. I've had Botox or filler treatments, can I still have TenTherma?
It is fine to receive the treatment after about 1 month. If you wish to have various procedures, it is best to decide after consultation.
Q. How many shots are needed to see results?
For TenTherma lifting, a minimum of 300 shots per session is basic. However, we recommend 600 shots or more, as a higher number of shots ensures sufficient energy accumulation, leading to longer-lasting lifting effects.
Q. Are there any good complementary treatments?
Since TenTherma targets the dermal layer, combining it with treatments that stimulate other layers can double the effect. Targeting the fascial layer: Shurink (HIFU) Targeting the fat layer: Onda Lifting (Microwave) By combining treatments layer by layer in this way, you can experience a three-dimensional lifting effect that encompasses the entire facial structure.
Q. How long does the procedure take?
The TenTherma lifting procedure takes approximately 20 minutes. Thanks to the quick procedure time, busy office workers can comfortably receive it during lunch breaks or after work.
Q. Is it noticeable the next day?
There is almost no downtime. Occasionally, redness or swelling may appear for 1-2 days, but it does not interfere with daily life at all, and makeup can be applied immediately.
Q. How many sessions are needed?
TenTherma lifting is a long-term management treatment to prevent aging. While you will see effects with just one session, you will experience the biggest difference when you receive it consistently and periodically.
Q. What is the treatment interval?
For 300 shots: Recommended every 3-6 months For 600 shots: Recommended every 6 months to 1 year This may vary depending on the number of shots and individual skin condition.
