Scalp tattoo removal
Pigment analysis guides tattoo removal
Removing a tattoo without identifying its pigment accurately may leave uneven colour or place stress on the skin. KKEUT Clinic analyses the pigment carefully to improve removal efficiency while aiming to minimise scarring.
Before treatment, we assess pigment composition and reactivity, and perform a test exposure to check for possible colour changes. Energy is adjusted according to the response at each session, and the laser plan reflects pigment depth.
Looking beyond the visible colour
An unsuitable wavelength may darken the pigment or damage the skin without adequate removal. Accurate analysis is the starting point for safer, faster treatment. We examine both the visible colour and the pigment's underlying properties.
We assess composition, including iron oxide and carbon, as well as depth, particle size and concentration. The 532nm and 1064nm wavelengths are planned according to pigment location. Settings are tailored to the skin rather than applied uniformly.
Planning the next session from the skin's response
Pigment composition and laser response vary between individuals. Iron oxide pigments in particular may turn darker. A test exposure is performed before treatment, and the response guides wavelength and energy selection. We record pigment changes and skin reactions at every visit and use them to plan the following session.
KKEUT check points
We aim to clear residual pigment carefully, reduce uneven colour, scarring and remaining marks, and restore a more natural skin appearance. Precise pigment assessment and attentive treatment are central to our approach, including attention to small differences.
Expected benefits
The goals include clearing faded or discoloured tattoos, fragmenting pigment while reducing the burden of skin damage, allowing a change of style, and improving skin tone and overall appearance.
Who may consider treatment
People who no longer want their tattoo; those concerned about their appearance; people with spreading or discoloured pigment; those seeking professional care because of scarring concerns; people needing removal due to pigment allergy or skin problems; and those preparing for a touch-up or cover-up.

Cautions
Results = Treatment × Aftercare. Please follow the notes below.
